They grow on the very same natural formation which creates beautiful Niagara Falls. This natural rock formation allows for one of the world’s best wine growing regions. This ridge of stone, thousands of years in the making has created the perfect place to grow our beloved Icewine grapes. A perfect combination of soil types and weather patterns come from this ridge, and it is with great passion that we call our winery Ridgeside Winery.

You can find our farmhouse and vineyards right below the escarpment, where we tend to our grapes daily. The rich soils and mineral deposits left from thousands of years of erosion have given our vineyards the nutrients to produce only the finest grapes. All of our grapes are grown locally and our wines bear the mark of a pure and true Canadian Icewine. As a world renowned winery Ridgeside has won numerous wine awards for the quality of our wines.
